The Effects of Shared Reading Approach on Improving Students’ Comprehension

This study aimed to research the significance of using shared reading approach on improving KG students’ comprehension. The was implemented with five students from KG2 who attend government kindergarten in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. followed a mixed methods design, considering both quantitative and qualitative data. A comprehension rubric cloze test were used as data collection tools masseur progress. An observation note considered observe interaction while implementing recorded occurrences behaviors. rating scale utilized further explore interactions. Additionally, an interview investigated English teachers’ perspectives about their outlook its significant strategies. Graphs compare findings showed growth abilities.
